Neil Huxley

Neil Huxley signed onto the Mothership roster in January 2012 after joining sister company Digital Domain as a Creative Director for commercials a year earlier. Having worked for many years as a designer and art director on productions including James Cameron’s Avatar and Zack Snyder’s Watchmen, Neil applied his creative sensibilities to several trailers and spots for Digital Domain/Mothership that have become highlights in the videogame world. He directed the AICP-recognized trailer that launched Activision’s TRANSFORMERS Fall of Cybertron at the VGA Awards and a follow-on teaser piece, Ubisoft’s E3 launch trailer for Ghost Recon Future Soldier, 2K Games’ Darkness II andNBA2K13 television spots and a :60 show open for the UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship) for its debut on Fox TV – which tapped into Neil’s amateur mixed martial arts experience. He recently directed the launch spot for EA’s Dead Space 3,“Take Down the Terror,” which combines live action, high-end CG and gameplay and has received more than 1.3 million YouTube views. A Los Angeles transplant, Huxley is a Londoner at heart. He is currently directing an independent feature documentary, Portrait of an Assassin, about retired East London boxer Jimmy Flint.
